The founder of Rewriting Destiny's, Zi'rielle Jones is a New Orleans native living the unique life as a black transgender woman.  As an enthusiastic learner, with an abundance of creativity, fun, love, philanthropy and self authenticity embarked on multiple journey's in fulfilling herself as a jack of all trades. She  started showing her light and ingenues talent at the age of 8 at G.T. Woods Elementary school fixing a PC that a student inserted a CD into a floppy disk drive that got stuck. She received a huge award for her accomplishment.  She made the front page attending Bonnabel High School where she played drums and trumpet at a homecoming game while surviving homelessness including Hurricane Katrina.

She started her transition at 19 even though they knew they was transgender at the early age of 7. On her journey, she met friends and associates that where sex workers, male, female, and transgender female. With a supporting family, Zi'rielle didn't understand their perspective to have to sex work but wanted to comprehend their reasoning. So she started sex working for 2 years, and while she learned a new world, life lessons and an appreciation for sex workers but left the life along after almost being killed twice. At the same time, Zi'rielle was attending Delgado Community College and graduated with two associate degrees in the Information Technology field in 2015.

Zi'rielle has always been a leader and creating change in small dozes. The incident that occurred at college between her and two security guards who discriminated against her, started the created of a transgender inclusion policy that is implemented til this day due to her standing up her equality. She was on Student Government Association for four year as a volunteer, senator and  Executive Secretary of Records making student life on campus positive, fun and inspirational. In 2017, she attended Operation Sparks Boot-Camp Course (JavaScript Language).

After Ms. Jones many life experiences, the complex venture of Rewriting Destiny's became the focus and vision to bridge gaps in the community. Many of Rewriting Destiny's programs and services was imaged after similar intertwined struggles.

​

In ​preparation of being prepared for to gravity of responsible and to better understanding of Rewriting Destiny's programs, Ms. Jones went to MyLee's Beauty College  and acquired a Manicurist Certificate in 2022 and ​HBI Home Building Industry Carpentry Pre-Apprentice Certificate 2024.

​

Since college Zi’rielle has worked as an IT Specialist working for different corporations as an independent specialist consultant for many companies and organizations.
